CRED: First of all, can you tell us a little about yourself? Where are you from, ethnicity, etc?
J: I was born in Recife, Brazil and I moved to America at age 8. I have lived in Dallas TX, Tulsa, OK and Fort Myers, FL before moving to Miami FL. I am proud to say I represent MIAMI FL! I love living here!
CRED: Are you a model and if so: How long have you been modeling? What inspired you to become a Model?
J: I always wanted to be a model, even at a very young age playing with Barbie dolls seeing how glamorous she was, I would have to say Barbie was a major catalyst at a young age. Ever since I owned a Barbie Doll I wanted to be a muse, or an inspiration to other girls to look pretty and feel pretty. Believe it or not, I have only been modeling for less then a year, but I have been dancing for 16 years. The art of dance, has always been and always will be my first passion. When I first came to America at age 8, not speaking a word of English, it was through the art of dance that I learned English, and now as an adult dance remains my favorite forum to express myself and my emotions.
My first photo shoot ever was for local South Florida Hip Hop artist Black Dada for promo on his new song "Naughty Girl", shortly there after I found myself teamed up with another Big Name in the South Florida Hip Hop scene Swazy Styles, where I worked with him on his hit new music video "Like This". Soon after that I found myself working with Celebrities like Soulja Boy and Ray J in there music videos as well as shooting ad campaigns for Commadon Cognac. I am also proud to say I am a member of the Zhantra Entertainment Dance Company (the most exclusive dance company), as well as being an Official VPX RedLine Girl and Official Ritchie Swimwear Girl, all of which are very high honors.
CRED: Do you feel like your style/body type or look has changed the game or added to it?
J: As someone who battled obesity, I must work extra hard to maintain my outer beauty. My diet remains strict, and my workout routines are vigorous, I also practice dance routines daily on top of my regular work outs in the gym. I hope that has added something to the game.
CRED: What else do you do for fun?
J: I love expressing myself through dance and make up artistry. I also enjoy working out and spending time at home with my boyfriend Josh and our puggle (beagle and pug mix) Kaya.
CRED: What do you look for in a guy?
J: I am lucky enough to be in a relationship with the most supportive boyfriend a girl could ask for. We motivate each other to work out and eat right and he has been extremely supportive of me on my quest to achieve my goals both within this industry and outside this industry as well.
CRED: What do people say is your best feature?
J: My booty, for a white girl, I got junk in my trunk! I owe that to my Brazilian side of the family.
CRED: What do you say is your best feature?
J: I got to agree with the public opinion, I got a cutie booty!
Lets play word association. Tell me the first thing that pops into your head:
Wet: Pussy (I was in a Soulja Boy music video called WET and the hook was "Pussy so WET"; anyway recorded it for 12 hours and I can never the hook out of my head)
Strawberries: whip cream
Automatic: Slim's ( is a Miami night spot)
CRED: What's the best thing about modeling?
J: I love getting paid to host nightclub events! Some people brag cuz they got in free? Some brag about being VIP? I am here cuz they paid my appearance fee!
CRED: Where can fans find your work or keep up with your career?
J: As seen dancing live on stage with Pitbull and in nine5four magazine, Hidden Treasures, Bikes & Beauties, Flava Girl and In The Biz Magazine and in Music Videos with Soulja Boy,Ray J, Black Dada and Swazy Styles and TV shows Titulares Y Mas on Telemundo, South Florida Today on NBC, Burn Notice on USA, The Glades on A&E, Charlie's Angles on ABC and runways everywhere
